Today has been an exceptionally good day. While I’m still basking in the joy of the long holiday weekend. I’m excited to find out that my hard work for the last 3 weeks has finally paid off. Schedule, re-schedule, cancellations and confirmations. Today our success ratio increased, so with due diligence TransHire continues to move onward and upward. With good fortune we placed a number of people to work this week. Just imagine 2 days left before the weekend; goes to show skies the limit. How do you measure your success for the week? Sometimes the best gauge is to not set limitations.

We find ourselves seemingly unable to do without our laptops or blackberry’s. Typically the work week used to be 40 hours more or less, rarely does that still hold true. Technology has proven that even while at the beach or dinner we are never really removed from the office. Do you ever question if your accessibility is too much?? The purpose of the weekend for most of us is to not only have fun, enjoy life but also regroup for the upcoming week. While life presents many challenges, to be in work mode 24/7 is not what we strive to do. Some of us will undertake this task quickly and with purpose while others are not so enthused. With all the gadgets in front of us and the ones yet to make it to the front line. Are we really expected to just power down or better yet be allowed to?
